Marybert Sports Meet 2025: A Day of Fun, Competition, and Celebration

On February 28, 2025, Marybert School successfully organized the much-anticipated Marybert Sports Meet at the school premises. The event was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship, bringing together students, teachers, and parents to celebrate physical activity and achievement.

The day began with the National Anthem, followed by a welcome dance performance by Grade 1. Principal Sabina Thapa delivered an inspiring welcome speech, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead. The program host, Admin and Finance Coordinator Rubina, ensured a smooth flow of events.

Sports and Activities

The sports meet featured a variety of games and performances that engaged students from different grades. The activities included:

1. Dance Performance – UKG students entertained the audience with a delightful dance.
2. Relay Games – Conducted for Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Grades 1-3, testing speed and teamwork.
3. Musical Chair – A fun-filled competition for PG students.
4. Rabbit Game – Engaging nursery kids in an exciting activity.
5. Balloon Game – A thrilling event for LKG students.
6. T-Shirt Game – A creative challenge for UKG students.
7. Ball Pair Game – A fun coordination game for Grades 1-3.
8. Sack Race – A competitive race for boys from Grades 3-4.

Additionally, house-wise sports competitions in Basketball, Futsal, and Table Tennis were held prior to the main event. Winners of these competitions were awarded medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places during the prize distribution ceremony.

After the junior-level activities, a lunch break was provided for the young participants.

Graduation Ceremony

A significant highlight of the event was the Graduation Ceremony for UKG students, marking their transition to Grade 1. The young graduates proudly donned graduation gowns and caps and received their graduation certificates from School Chairperson Atmaram Satyal and School Coordinator Raju Maharjan. Principal Sabina Thapa also presented them with special gifts to commemorate their achievement.

Parental Involvement

Parents of the children were invited to the event, where they enjoyed the program and cheered for their young ones. Their presence added to the excitement and motivation of the participants, making the day even more memorable.

Closing Ceremony and Prize Distribution

Following the competitive events, a dance performance by senior girls captivated the audience. The most awaited prize distribution ceremony then took place, where Atmaram Satyal handed out medals and certificates to the achievers in various sports categories. This was a moment of pride and celebration for all participants.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the teachers, coordinators, and students who made the Marybert Sports Meet 2025 a grand success. Special appreciation goes to all Pre-Primary and Primary teachers for their dedication and hard work in organizing and managing the event, ensuring its smooth execution.

The event not only promoted physical fitness and sportsmanship but also fostered a spirit of unity and joy among the Marybert family.
