About Marybert School
Marybert School is a social enterprise school established in 2002 with the vision of providing quality, affordable and inclusive education to children from low-income and underprivileged families.
Located in Nepal, the school believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and build a better future, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Marybert follows the principle of “High Quality – Low Cost”, keeping education accessible while maintaining a caring and supportive learning environment.
Over the years, Marybert School has grown into a close-knit educational community where students are encouraged not only to achieve academically but also to develop confidence, creativity, discipline, practical skills and respect for others.
The school currently provides education from Nursery to Grade 8, serving children approximately 2 to 14 years of age. Alongside regular education, the school provides additional support to children who need financial assistance, including full and partial fee waivers.
A Caring Learning Environment
Marybert School places great importance on creating a safe, friendly and nurturing environment. Teachers work closely with students to understand their individual needs and encourage them to participate actively in classroom and extracurricular activities.
The school also continues to improve its facilities and learning resources, including classrooms, a computer lab, auditorium, teacher facilities, sports facilities and a developing science laboratory.
Supporting Children Beyond the Classroom
For children who require additional support, Marybert also provides accommodation through its hostel/children’s home. The school community supports these children with their education and, where needed, food and other essential educational requirements.
Many children who have studied at Marybert have continued their education into higher secondary school, college and professional careers. Their achievements are an important part of the school’s journey and demonstrate what can be achieved when children are given the right opportunities and encouragement.
Looking Ahead
Marybert School continues to look toward the future with the aim of reaching more children and strengthening the quality of education it provides. The school hopes to gradually expand its educational opportunities, facilities and learning programmes so that more children can receive a strong foundation for their future.
