Celebrating Teacher’s Day at Marybert School
On July 21, 2024, Marybert School joyously celebrated Teacher’s Day, honoring the dedication and hard work of our esteemed educators. The event was filled with enthusiasm and gratitude, showcasing the talents of our students and the heartfelt appreciation of our community.
The celebration kicked off with a series of captivating performances by students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Each grade presented unique group and solo acts, reflecting the diverse talents and creativity of our students. The highlight of the event was a poignant play performed by students from Grades 5 and 6, focusing on the crucial role of parenting. The play was met with applause and appreciation for its insightful message and excellent execution.
In a special segment of the program, Marybert School warmly welcomed back two former teachers, Mandira and Recha, who recently left the school. Mandira, who dedicated over 17 years of service to our school, was honored with a token of love, handed over by our school president, Atmaram. This gesture acknowledged her invaluable contributions and lasting impact on our community. Both teachers received a heartfelt ovation, underscoring the deep respect and affection they earned from students and staff alike.
The celebration culminated with a heartfelt thank-you note from our Principal, Sabina Thapa. In her speech, she expressed profound gratitude to all the teachers for their unwavering commitment to nurturing and guiding our students. She highlighted the pivotal role teachers play in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning.
To mark the occasion, all the teachers gathered to cut a celebratory cake, symbolizing the unity and camaraderie that define the Marybert School family.
