Marybert School Hosts “Good Touch Bad Touch” Awareness Program
On 16th August 2024, Marybert School organized a crucial “Good Touch Bad Touch” awareness program on its premises. The initiative aimed to educate students about recognizing and responding to inappropriate behavior.
During the event, all students were engaged in a drama performed by the school teachers. Krishna Ma’am narrated the scenes while the other teachers brought the story to life through their performances. The drama told the story of a young girl who was manipulated by her uncle for his physical needs. It highlighted the importance of understanding boundaries and knowing when to seek help.
The narrative concluded with the uncle being punished for his sinful act, emphasizing that such behavior has serious consequences. This ending reinforced the message that it is vital to stand up against wrongdoing and ensure justice is served.
Marybert School remains committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all its students, using programs like this to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves and others.
