Marybert School Students Experience the Thrill of Shooting Sports

A unique and exciting opportunity awaited a few Grade 6 students from Marybert School as they got the chance to witness a Shooting Sports Event up close. The visit was made possible by Rubina, our dedicated Admin and Accounts Officer, who is also a contestant representing Bagmati Province in shooting sports.

Despite the invitation being extended to the entire Grade 6 class, only four students were able to attend. They were accompanied by Raju Sir, Simon Sir, and Rojan Sir, who ensured the children had an engaging and informative experience. The event provided them with a firsthand look at the precision, discipline, and skills required in the sport.

Adding to the excitement, Rubina achieved a remarkable feat by securing a bronze medal in the mixed team category! Her dedication and hard work were truly inspiring to the students and faculty alike.

Beyond just witnessing the sport, Rubina also arranged an exclusive meeting with the President of the Shooting Club, allowing the students to learn more about the significance of the sport, its techniques, and the opportunities it offers for aspiring athletes. This interaction was an invaluable experience that broadened their understanding of shooting sports.

Marybert School is always eager to provide students with real-world learning experiences beyond the classroom, and this visit was a testament to that commitment. We congratulate Rubina on her incredible achievement and thank her for making this experience possible for our students.
