Marybert School Celebrates World Environment Day 2025

On June 5th, 2025, Marybert School came alive in shades of green as students and teachers joined hands to celebrate World Environment Day with the theme “Let’s Nurture Nature.”

The entire school community participated enthusiastically, with everyone dressed in green clothing to symbolize their commitment to protecting the environment. The day’s events were thoughtfully designed to raise awareness about the importance of trees, flowers, and overall care for our natural surroundings.

Special Student Performances

A vibrant program was held where students from different classes showcased their creativity and understanding of environmental issues through:

  • Drama performances portraying the harmful effects of deforestation and the benefits of planting trees.
  • Dances and songs celebrating the beauty of nature and encouraging everyone to take care of the Earth.
  • Awareness presentations highlighting key messages such as “Plant More Trees”, “Protect Our Flowers”, and “Say No to Cutting Trees.”

A Flower for Nature

In a beautiful gesture, each child was asked to bring one flower to school. The school grounds were soon blooming with colorful flowers brought in by the students, symbolizing their personal contribution to a greener world.

Cleaning the School Ground

As part of the celebration, all children actively took part in a clean-up activity. Armed with bags and gloves, the students helped clean the school grounds by collecting litter and fallen leaves. This hands-on experience not only beautified the school area but also taught the children the value of keeping their surroundings clean.

Inspiring Young Environmentalists

The World Environment Day 2025 program at Marybert School was a great success in fostering a sense of responsibility among students towards the environment. Through fun, interactive, and meaningful activities, the children learned how small actions—like planting flowers and keeping spaces clean—can have a big impact on our planet.

The school looks forward to continuing such initiatives and building a generation of thoughtful, eco-conscious citizens.
