UK Volunteers Bring Creativity, Care, and Color to Marybert School
On 27th May 2025, Marybert School warmly welcomed three volunteers from the United Kingdom – Pavan, Amrit and Sam. Their arrival brought fresh energy, creativity, and support to the school community.
All volunteers actively took part in classroom teaching and a special painting project. They helped transform the newly constructed kitchen into a delightful space for pre-primary children by decorating the walls with colorful paintings of mountains, sun rays, and animals—making the space cheerful and inviting for our youngest learners.
Pavan, who volunteered for over two weeks, also shared her talent in clay art. While continuing her own clay classes in Patan, she organized fun clay sessions for Marybert children, sparking creativity and excitement. Before her departure, Pavan left behind a meaningful gesture: she gifted her self-made clay products to each class and school staff members as souvenirs of her time with us. She also generously donated a collection of books, giving children more opportunities to read and enjoy stories at school.
Amrit and Sam, although with us for a shorter duration, contributed meaningfully to the school and the kitchen mural project during his stay.
Marybert School is sincerely grateful for the time, effort, and love shared by Pavan, Amrit and Sam. Their presence created lasting memories for the children and staff, and we look forward to welcoming more compassionate volunteers like them in the future.
